Another post! A lot of meals out this month. Me & my two friends, Rachel & Faith went to IKEA and on the way back we were starving so I googled and found a local Frankie & Benny's and I hadn't been in a while so we decided to go there. The lunch time menu is such a good deal, 1 course for £5.95, 2 for £8.95 or 3 courses for £9.95-so good! So as we were so hungry, we decided to have 3 courses as it's such a good price too! The service wasn't great, quite slow to get our drinks order, which was weird as it was very quiet in there but it was okay, I don't expect amazing service in restaurants like this and especially when you are paying those kind of prices.
La Coppola-Leamington 13/06/13
This next restaurant visit was to Leamington, somewhere I don't go very often but I walked past this restaurant whilst shopping and it looked so pretty and the menu sounded so good, the following week I dragged Jayne along with me to go! The outside has all greenery on the walls and it looks so Italian! The inside is just as pretty, fairy lights all over the walls and the ceiling, with real trees throughout the place, gorgeous murals on the walls and in the middle of the restaurant they have a display of all fresh fruit, fish and vegetables which I think looks so nice and shows how fresh the food is.
The Rising Sun-The Costwolds 7/06/13
Me, my mum and dad went out for the day to the Costwolds and on the way back we decided to find somewhere to eat on route home. We found a Rising Sun pub near by so knowing it would be reasonably priced we went here. It was a typical rising sun pub, cheap and cheerful. The menu had loads of choice with every sort of food you could possibly imagine!
BANK-Brindley Place, Birmingham 5/06/2013
Yes, we went to BANK again to eat-it was a friends birthday and she had never eaten here before so as it was a special occasion we decided to go. The table was booked for 8.45 and the restaurant was fairly busy, as usual and the the actual place is so bright and the atmosphere is always very good, with a lot of members of staff and it is always busy, usually full of business men/women.
Coast 2 Coast-Solihull 5/06/2013
I was meeting my friend for lunch in Solihull on this day and we decided to go to Coast 2 Coast as she had never been before and I had only been for breakfast before and I've heard a lot of good things about it! The decor is all set out like an American Diner and it's very bright. They offer a lunch time set menu for two courses for £9.95 and they have loads of choice! Unusual for a set menu but this one had a choice of 6 starters and over 15 mains! Which I think is very good because there is something to suit everybody.
The Opposition Bistro-Stratford 1/06/2013
This particular meal was for my dads birthday, it took us a while to decide where to go but this restaurant was voted number 1 on Trip Advisor out of all the restaurants in Stratford; The Opposition Bistro. We thought we should give it go! It's the sister pub to the Vitner in Stratford and as I've been there before and it was very good, I thought this would be a good choice. It's located on Sheep Street, a very busy restaurant area so there is a lot of competition on this street.
The Bowling Green-Lichfield 23/05/2013
Well, I had been to Alton Towers this day with a couple of friends and we had such a good day but we were all starving after so on the way back we decided to go cross country to find a pub to eat, after what felt like hours of driving and loads of different pubs-all of which weren't serving past 3pm or we didn't like the look of, we found an Ember Dining Pub in Lichfield on a roundabout; The Bowling Green. These pubs are usually cheap and cheerful and we were so hungry by this point, I don't think we even cared!
Centre Parcs-Cafe Rouge & American Diner
Me & my two friends were in Centre Parcs a couple of weeks ago and I completely forgot to do the food blog for it and i just found the pictures so I thought I would write it now-better late than never!
We didn't eat out too much as its very expensive there but we decided to eat out on the last night to celebrate our week in centre parcs!
