100th Blog Post! The Thai Cottage, Henley in Arden 29/10/13
I can't believe I've come to my 100th blog post already, time seems to go so fast! I've loved writing every post so much and I hope you all enjoy reading it!
This blog post is from a restaurant I reviewed not too long ago but we decided to go back as it was so good. The Thai Cottage in Henley is only down the road from me which makes it even better, Jayne, Laura, Sam and I went this particular evening, it was quite busy and we didn't book but luckily we managed to get a table. The menu has so much yummy choice and its so hard to decide what to have! We pretty much all agreed on the same food we had last time, we decided to go for different set meals for two people- Set Menu A and Set Menu B both are £19.95 per person, therefore we had enough food for 4.
Crust, Shirley 24/10/13
Me and Rachel had been to Birmingham this day and on the way back we were starving but didn't want to spend a lot of money so I suggested going to Crust in Shirley on the way back as its near by and reasonably priced.
I only recently reviewed this restaurant so I don't need to say too much. But they offer a lunch time deal for any main course for £5.95 which is incredibly good. They offer 4 different pizzas, pastas, salads or burgers all of which sound very good and you get a fair bit of choice for a lunch time offer which is good, as you don't have too many limitations. They serve it Monday-Friday 12-6.
Loch Fyne, Kenilworth 19/10/13
This Saturday afternoon mum, dad and I had been to the theatre at the Birmingham Rep and we all decided to go to Loch Fyne for a late lunch as we all love it and we have never tried the Kenilworth one.
Handmade Burger Company, Solihull 11/10/13
Another favourite of mine, I hadn't been in a while and after the cinema seeing as its opposite in Touchwood, Solihull. I went for a late lunch. This place never fails to disappoint me and I was SO hungry! The service is very good, you get greeted at the door and shown to a table, given menus and a table number. The only let down is that you have to order at the bar-slightly inconvenient but its only because I'm lazy ha! The menu, as ever was as good as it always has been, they have so many different choices of burgers from chicken, beef lamb and veggie with so many different combinations.
Akamba, Shirley 3/10/13
This was an interesting food blog, we went to a garden centre believe it or not for dinner! It's a garden centre in the day time but on the evening they have a restaurant open; Akamba. I had never been before but my friend Laura went a couple of weeks before and recommended it to us. Laura, Jayne, Sam & I decided to go one evening.
