The Beeches, Hampton in Arden 18/07/2013

Another food blog, I haven't been to this restaurant; The Beeches for so long and my friend Laura lives opposite so we decided to meet here for lunch as the first time I went I thoroughly enjoyed the food and had been wanting to go again for a long time. The setting is perfect, in a tiny little village with a gorgeous restaurant and the outside is lovely, it over looks all the fields and it is so countryside and picturesque-perfect setting for a meal outside. It was such a hot day again but as I had been ill for a couple of days before I was SO hungry!

Matricardis, Henley in Arden 4/07/2013

Again, this place; Matricardis! I really do love it, this time I was meeting an old friend for dinner, it was a lovely summer day so we decided to sit outside! The menu at this restaurant is SO good, it is always impossible to decide what to have as everything sounds so yummy!

The Horse & Jockey-1/07/2013: Wythall

Me and my friend Rachel were going to a house warming party and after a day of baking we couldn't be bothered to make anything so we decided to go out for a cheap meal to; The Horse & Jockey in Wythall. I remembered we had been to this pub ages ago and it was so cheap and cheerful, they offer 2 meals for £10, 2 starters for £5 and 2 desserts for £5-which is a bargain! So as we needed to be quick and didn't want to spend a lot, we decided to go here.

Thai Cottage-Henley in Arden 26/07/2013

Another food blog entry, this time a Thai restaurant in Henley in Arden; The Thai Cottage. Jayne & Sam were off to Vegas on the Monday so it was our farewell dinner. Me & Jayne had been to this Thai before for lunch and we thought it was average but Thai food is usually better in the evening so thats why we thought we would try it again.

The Lyttelton Arm, Hagley- 22/06/2013

Well, what a weekend. My best friends birthdays are the 21st & 22nd June. So after an amazing night on the Friday, the Saturday-my friend Sam wanted drinks at hers and then dinner at The Lyttelton Arms, somewhere I hadn't been before which was good as I always love trying new places! The car park was SO full, always a good sign! Inside, was exactly the same too-busy, full of drinkers and the restaurant had such a good atmosphere! Our table wasn't booked till 9 so we had a drink first as our table wasn't quite ready as Sam's parents had booked us our own private room!
