Tapas Revolution, Birmingham - Grand Central, 10/11/15

This is somewhere I couldn't wait to try! The new Grand Central station is so cool, I love how airy and light it is and new restaurants are always exciting! This time I met my friend, Faith at the station and we went for dinner at Tapas Revolution - I love tapas and had heard so many good things about this place, I was intrigued and excited to try it! What's even better is between 5-7pm they do Happy Hour - 2for1 cocktails or sangria! Perfecto!

Coast 2 Coast, Solihull, 24/10/15

I have been to this restaurant a few times, but this time I ventured there for breakfast with my mum before going to see The Suffragette in the Cinema. Coast to Coast in Touchwood, Solihull is an American restaurant and bar that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and a array of cocktails. It always has a good atmosphere and the food is usually pretty good too! I have had breakfast here before but it was a long time ago, so I couldn't wait to try it out again.

Fine Dining Comes To Henley, Cheals, Henley-in-Arden, 25/10/15

When I heard the news all over social media that the chef, Matt Cheal had left Simpsons and decided to open his own restaurant, Cheals in the town I grew up in, Henley-in-Arden, I was very intrigued. I have been to Simpson's once and really enjoyed it but having a fine dining restaurant right on my doorstep, now this truly was exciting!

The Lord Clifden, Birmingham 21/10/15

The blogger girls and I decided to have a meet up, as we only ever seem to see each other at events! We had been invited to a PR event that same evening, hosted by Clive Reeves, which was a lovely evening - they had put food, champagne and goody bags on for us and the goody bag was amazing! I was very impressed. We left the event about 7.00 to get to our table reservation, I was looking forward to trying the food at The Lord Clifden as I had heard so much about the place, but never actually been ... what did I think? Time for Tapas - Barceloneta, Leicester 17/10/15

I love a road trip, and on this particular Saturday mum, dad and I had been to see 'A Street Car Named Desire' in Leicester at The Curve Theatre and off course, dinner has to follow. Mum and dad had been to this restaurant, Barceloneta in Leicester before and said how good it was ... I was excited. Barceloneta is a Spanish tapas restaurant and it has a bar attached to it, which was very cool. We had a drink in there first and I actually felt like I was sitting in a Spanish living room, it was very cosy and warm. After seeing the bar, I was looking forward to the restaurant and the food!

More Like 'Gross Burger Kitchen' - GBK, The Mailbox 16/10/15

Me and my friend, Faith met up after work one evening in Birmingham and as I had never been to GBK before, this is where we decided to go. We visited the Mailbox branch. It was early evening and it was quite full already, this was a good start. Now as you all know, I love burgers and I'm forever on the hunt for the best burger in the West Midlands area. But, did GBK hit the spot? Click below to read more...

The Beeches, Hampton-in-Arden, 29/09/15

The Beeches in Hampton-in-Arden is only down the road from me and as I have a Gourmet Society Card, I get 2for1 off on all main courses during the week, which is a good deal as it isn't the cheapest of restaurants. It has a lovely atmosphere, very bright and airy and its gorgeous outside in the summer. I met my best friend, Matt here for dinner and as I had done 2 back-to-back gym classes, I was starving and could't wait for some food.

If Only Every Sunday Lunch Could Be This Good! En Place, Two Cats Kitchen, 20/09/15

I love writing these reviews as En Place's pop-up restaurants always exceed my expectations and the food is outstanding. For Septembers pop-up they were doing their take on traditional Sunday lunch. I'm the unusual one, I'm not actually massively bothered by roast dinner and I certainly wouldn't have it every Sunday. But, I was very intrigued to see how Josh & Mike did it, as they have never failed to surprise me.

What's Better Than 1 Burger? ... Coast 2 Coast, Solihull, 12/09/15

We all know how it goes, Saturday night, can't be bothered to cook and as we live 2 miles away from Touchwood, we decided to go for a quick meal. As I have been eating so healthy, I wanted to go somewhere where I could eat carbs! We decided to go to Coast 2 Coast in Touchwood, its an American Restaurant and Bar with a varied menu. It was very busy when we got there but they managed to get us a table. We were both staving and I couldn't wait to eat 'dirty' food again!

Chung Ying Central, Birmingham, 04/09/15

It's September, I promise I'm catching up on blog posts, I still have so many to do but I'm getting there! This time was a newbie for me and one I was very excited for. Chung Ying Central didn't open that long ago and its a Chinese Dim Sum restaurant mixed with a cocktail bar. I was very excited to be invited along by the owner for a meal for two. After looking at their website and the menu, I couldn't wait!

Muriels Kitchen, London 29/08/15

I love a road trip and especially when its in London. Our friends from America were visiting so mum, dad, Tom and I decided to go to London for the day and explore the Natural History Museum and Harrods, basically be typical tourists! And with this ... off course comes eating out at different restaurants! The four of us arrive in Leicester Square and found a cute restaurant right in the centre where we set up camp whilst we waited for our friends to arrive. Muriel's Kitchen is right in the centre of Leicester Square, full of hustle and bustle. As it was such a beautiful day we sat outside with our coffees and had lovely conversation.

Aroma, Bentley Heath, 28/08/15

We have lived in the flat nearly a year and we still hadn't tried our local Indian restaurant, awful I know! But now was the time … as you know Tom sadly lost his best friend a few months ago and we had booked this restaurant for Tom's birthday, but he was too upset to go at the time so a month later we decided to go for what would've been Dave's 35th Birthday. This was a very sad occasion but we toasted to his life and celebrated his birthday with food, just the way Dave would've wanted us to. We went along with Dave's girlfriend Gemma too and I was looking forward to trying the food, Aroma has very good reviews and every time I drive past it is always so busy.

Henry Wongs, Harborne, 20/08/15

The wait was over … I was finally going to sample the food and drink at Henry Wong's in Harborne for a blogger evening. I have driven past it many times and seen so many amazing reviews but I had never been. It's rare to find very good Chinese restaurants, so when I was invited for the VIP Blogger Evening to celebrate their 30th anniversary, I couldn't wait.

Mockingbird, Custard Factory, 18/08/15

Is this the best burger in Birmingham? Read below and find out …

After going to the blogger launch night at The Mockingbird in The Custard Factory, Digbeth I was looking forward to going again and trying more of the food. It has recently been refurbishment and it is located in the middle of The Custard Factory, it is a lovely setting and has gorgeous interior. Loved the Mockingbird sign in lights! The launch event was on the 6th August where we got to sample a few of the dishes on their menu, then Anthony Duffy invited to come back as a table of two and try the menu they had for that day, exciting stuff!

Purnells Bistro, Birmingham, 12/08/15

I have wanted to try Purnell's for ages but can't afford to at the moment, so when I saw online they have a Purnell's Bistro, I was very excited as the menu is very reasonably priced and they offer a Prix Fix Menu for three courses for £20.00 - which is pretty damn good value! The food isn't Michelin Star standard, it is simpler and more relaxed and the prices match. I met my best friend, Matt after work on a weekday and this is where we decided to eat, I was very intrigued and excited to sample the food.

Kayal, Leicester, 09/08/15

Kayal became a favourite of mine in June after going to the Leamington one, this time we ventured to the Leicester branch after watching my mum in her play - Richard III at The Curve Theatre. A group of us booked a table and went to Kayal after the theatre. After how amazing the Leamington one was I couldn't wait to go again, I was hoping it was just as good. Kayal is a South Indian restaurant, offering different sorts of cuisine and it is certainly is different to your usually curry house down the road!

The Crazy Bear, 6 Course Thai Tasting Menu, Oxford 08/08/15

I was so excited for this. I love the chain of Crazy Bear Hotels and have always wanted to go to one. For Sam's birthday me and the girls decided to get a joint present and got her a a 6 course tasting Thai meal at The Crazy Bear Hotel in Stadhampton, Oxford. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, I definitely want to stay in one for an evening. The reception area is inside the red bus, so cool. I couldn't wait to try the food, the menu sounded delicious and I had heard so many good things about this place …

En Place at Six Eight Kafe, Birmingham 07/08/15

After being SO impressed by the previous pop-up restaurants meals, I couldn't wait to try another one.  After attending June and July's. I was so exited to try Augusts!

I have been blown away by all of their pop-ups but this one really blew my mind, it was exceptional from start to finish and Mike & Josh have grown so much as chefs and their techniques are improving by the month. They work from a tiny kitchen with hardly any appliances and yet they still manage to produce beautiful food.

Santhi, Leicester 02/08/15

I love going to new restaurants, its so exciting and this time was an Indian Restaurant in Leicester, Santhi. My mum was playing Margaret in Richard III at The Curve Theatre in Leicester and this particular evening me and my dad met mums family at the theatre for some dinner afterwards, as we were with some vegetarians and gluten free people we had to be careful about where we chose, after doing some research, this restaurant seemed to accommodate for dietary requirements well.

Edwards, Birmingham 31/07/15

I was invited by Andrew at Food Birmingham to go and try Edwards in Erdington, I was intrigued as I had never heard of it before but very much looking forward to it! It was a surprise when we arrived at a furniture store, Cookes but I was informed that the restaurant was above it, after looking at the menu online I was excited to try the food as it sounded very good.
