Once again, this restaurant! Me & my dad decided to go for some food one night as my mum was out, on a thursday night they do an offer for two main course for £12 with a glass of wine each, which is an incredibly good offer! Its obviously a limited menu but it has a lot of choice! We went to the bar where we ordered the two glasses of wine and set up a tab, we chose our table and looked at the menu.
We both decided to go for the gammon, egg and chips which is a good old traditional pub favourite! The good thing about this pub is its atmosphere and I like how they do the orders at the table which is unusual at a cheap pub but that is a good assentive for me to go back to somewhere again!
As you can see the portion size is massive and its a proper hearty pub food meal! The chips are cooked perfectly, the egg is runny and the gammon is succulent! Just how it should be! The service here is so good and the food came under 20 minutes after we ordered! We both really enjoyed this meal and would definitely have it again and for £6 each how can you complain?!
I decided to have a desert as the meal was so cheap, would be rude not to!
I went for a very traditional jam sponge with ice cream with two spoons! The sponge was perfectly bouncy and moist and complimented with the jam so well! This was a gorgeous desert and such good value for £3.95!
This is a brilliant pub, with proper hearty pub food at a very reasonable price!
