This food blog is a restaurant I have been to many times before but I haven't been in a while so I was hoping the food was still as good as it always was! I went with my best friend; Matt. He had never eaten here before. Therefore, I was looking forward to seeing what he thought. Mortons is one of the lovely pubs chains and is set on the main high street in Dickens Heath.

Jamie Oliver Cookery Day, London; Nottinghill 02/08/14
This is a slightly different food blog this time as it isn't a restaurant. I bought my dad for his birthday present a day to Jamie Oliver's cookery class in Nottinghill; Recipease. They offer many different classes from bread making, pasta, chocolate, Mexican, Thai and many more! I decided to go for the Vietnamese Street Food lesson as Vietnamese food is something my dad hasn't tried to cook yet and I knew he would love it! The classes range from £30-50 a head and you get a 2 hour lesson. They are definitely worth the price and are so much fun! It has a shop too where you can buy Jamie's cookware and food! This lesson we had to make; Vietnamese Pork Balls with Dipping Sauce, Summer Rolls and Beef Pho.
Chiquito's, Rubery- 1/08/2014
It's August- this means a whole new month of restaurant reviews! I'm kicking the month off with an old favourite: Chiquitos. Tom loves Mexican food so we decided to go here one Friday night. the restaurant itself is very busy and loud- we booked a table for 8.15pm. Lucky we did, as the restaurant was so busy! We arrived but our table wasn't quite ready so we went to the bar for a drink- cocktail off course!
The Farm, Solihull 29/07/14
The Farm in Solihull, another one of the lovely pubs chain- I hadn't been to this particular restaurant in aggges and the last time I went I wasn't very impressed, so I was hoping it had changed! It is a beautiful setting for a restaurant, in a very quiet area and it's a Grade II listed building. It recently won a Certificate of Excellence awarded by Trip Advisor.
